I’m really keen to meet people who are aspiring to become a VA, or are existing VAs, particularly if you are part of the fabulous VA Handbookers Group, our awesome Facebook community. As VAs we spend so much of our time working on our own, it’s great to have some real-life, in person meet ups to get to know one another and forge those all-important human connections.

Atomicon 2027
I had a fab time at Atomicon 2026. I’ve already booked my ticket for Atomicon ’27 which takes place in Manchester on Friday, 2nd July. If you’d like to come along, you can grab an early-bird ticket using the button below (affiliate link).
For those of you who don’t know what Atomicon is all about, it’s a sales and marketing conference you can attend virtually or in person and there are a ton of sessions with some awesome speakers as well as a ton of virtual events throughout the year.
Highlights for me at Atomicon 2026 were:
⭐ catching up with so many of our amazing VA community (obvs)
⭐ hearing Shawn Kanungo talk about how to implement AI in our businesses while retaining deep human, caring interactions
⭐ really helpful advice from Liz Mosley on podcast strategy and growth
⭐ Jo Bird on attracting the right clients with uncopiable brand positioning and injecting personality into your business.
My biggest takeaway was hosts Andrew and Pete reminding us of the power of focusing 90% of our efforts on doing just ONE thing remarkably well.
